Kaniza Series 01

Painted prototypes of the full line of figures should be on show at San Diego Comic Con at the Toy Qube booth #4937. Bigshot Toyworks will also be showing production samples of the Coney plush figures at the Toy Qube booth.

Jack Rabbit Key-Chains are on the way

The Candykiller Jack Rabbit key-chains from Wheaty Wheat Studios should be making their way to retailers in around two to three weeks. The key-chains will be available in Retro, Mono and Glow versions. (Retro version is shown here) See the "Comments" section below for a list of stores that will carry the key-chains. Attack of the Zliks Show

Here is my custom for the "Attack of the Zliks" show that has just opened at myplasticheart in New York. Info: 19 inch cast resin, wood, plastic and paint. I look forward to seeing photos from the show, as the work I have seen so far from the other participants looks amazing. The show runs through May 20th. Following on from the post showing some of my sketchbook ideas, this is an example of one of the sketches that I have taken to a further stage. This is just a 3D mock-up. There are no plans to produce an actual product at this stage. However, if any plush manufacturers out there are interested, feel free to get in touch. :)

Sketchbook Samples

A lot of my Candykiller work is ultimately produced on the computer. However, pretty much everything I do starts out as a sketch. These are the steps I generally follow to produce a finished piece of work. I first work out my ideas in pencil in a Moleskine sketchbook. I then work over them in pen, refining the drawing as I go, then erase the original pencil work. If I feel that an idea is worth following through to a finished piece, I scan the sketchbook drawing and use it as a guide to work over on the computer.
